Born in Canosa di Puglia (Bari) Cannone Lucia, graduated in Engineering, she lives and works between Turin and Rome.
She began her career as an autodidact artist with ink drawing.
After some experiments in painting she directed towards the materials search by studying chemical/physical components.
She is now exploring the potential of different materials such as sponges and nautical ropes installations on topics related to everyday life and its contradictions, the relationship between space and time and time and elusiveness just experienced.
Placing objects in unexpected environments and transforming the meaning of its installation are often ironic and funny and transfer a sense of lightness.
Her works are among the selected AWARD ‘Premio Arte Ingenua’ and within reported in Installation Section of the Celeste Prize 2010. Her works have been exhibited in Italy (Turin, Rome, Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, Benevento, Lecce) abroad (Spain, Portugal, Lithuania, Romania, Argentina, Brazil and the United States).
